JacksonRally
Well heres the build thread for my slightly modified WRX wagon. I bought this car with every intention to use it off road and often. For the first year I owned the car it was mostly stock with the exception of some 15'' rally wheels and tires. Then after a not so fun day in the desert I managed to smash the front end into the ground and bend all four struts. Oh and shortly after that I blew the motor Aftermath: So while she was down getting a new heart I decided to bring it into my shop and start cutting away. And did some other mods. Lowrance Globalmap 540C GPS Some goodies for the inside of the motor Some control arms I built
JacksonRally
Now onto the new departure angle Before: Then I started cutting Capped off the box section of the unibody Then started with the tubing Little strut support

JacksonRally
Onto the front After a little cutting of crap that was in my way I find out that one frame rail is 4/10 of a degree higher than the other. The good news is that is was only from the subframe forward. So the subframe, motor mounts, suspension pivots and strut tops are all level. So onto the plating Now comes the tubework Front end fab complete and paint Motor ready and waiting Installed
JacksonRally
Evap canister stone sheild Power steering reservoir And now we hit the road to Utah And just recently built a lower control arm rear pivot x brace Treated myself to a high lift and filter wrap I think that should bring everyone up to date Plenty more to come!! JacksonRally
Nice work, is that all tig welded? Thank you. Yes everything is tig welded except some plate work to the rear strut tops. But 99.9% is tig.
Pooparu
Nice work. I really dig it. What did you use for your suspension setup? You should get a few shots of it on flat ground without snow around it.
SoobieDoo
Like I said in your other thread, nice rig! Is that the stock tranny? If not, a d/r would rock offroad.
