The Dude Abides
So i guess i dont know if thats the right wording but shifting from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd i have this point in the beginning where it will do nothing. It still drives but i can mash the gas and it just kinda bucks a bit and gurgles then takes off. This spot usually only lasts a few seconds but i was curious if this is what is called a dead spot and what i could do. Has new NGK plugs and wires. Cleaned MAF and is not throwing any codes. 1988 Subaru DL
Loyale 2.7 Turbo
it Could be Something as Simple as a Vacuum Leak or Dirty Fuel Injectors... But I Don`t Know the English Name for That Behaviour... My `69 Mercury got That Problem but got Worse with Time, and I Fixed that after many Time of Searching the Cause and Trying many Things... it was a Failing PCV Valve that had a Vacuum Leak... Maybe that Idea can Help you. Kind Regards.
Twitch de la Brat
This is fuel injected? Wow. That sounds just like flooding the cylinders and them catching up. Typical carb problem (for those of us with a lead foot ) Maybe your TPS is acting up. It sounds like it is sticking... Hope it helps.
