bheinen74
83 GL Rescue Wagon-just changed oil getting ready for the Mudcoast rally in Iowa this Saturday. while my oil was draining, decided to see about getting the hlll holder to work. Looked down, and both ends of the cable for the hill holder are broken. Hmmm, just so happens i pulled a good cable in the junkyard a year or so ago, and it was still a spare. Put it in, and go by feel on tension. Screw on oil filter, put in drain plug, fill oil. Start, check for leaks, go for drive down the street, find first hill. YAY. Hill holder works. Wanted to get the rear window wiper working, checked nut, loose, tighten, it works now too. ready for some mud. so glad we are into the 55 temp range when i get home from work. nice to be able to make progress.
