pyro926
I was told by a 4x4 buddy of mine that many people take off the anti-sway bar in the front of a rig to help with flex. Has anyone done this? Why should/shouldn't I try it. Thanks, Pyro
bratman18
Take it off, it does help a little and you won't notice it too much at all on the road.

pyro926
Thanks, Sorry for the repost. Guess I just don't know how to use the search function properly. I'll take it off soon!
bheinen74
When taking this off, does it cause over-travel / over-exension of the front axels? I don't want to shorten axle life.

I suppose it could if you've got too much suspension lift. but, for the most part, it's prolonged high-speed use at moderate angle that kills them much quicker than momentary extreme angle at slow speed (only exception was my blue wagon, 5" of shock extension, 1" diff blocks, popped 2 rear axles in 2 days on the trail).
