P K
You can lift an auto trans Brat. Uses the same kit, but should probably have four (4) more lift blocks for the auto trans crossmember. (been so long I cant remember) Talk to Scott at SJR, great guy, he'll hook you up. You may want the 4 or 5 speed later on anyway. Quite a lot more to it though > You will need a flywheel ($90) make sure you get the larger 8 7/8 diam version, clutch kit ($180), manual pedal assembly, manual driveshaft, and 3.90 rear diff. Jerry DeMoss
I think it will work with your brat being auto the main difference is your auto trans cross member. You can do a manual swap, and it really isn't all that bad. I have a '84 ea81t coupe that started out life as an auto but soon grew into its 5 speed d/r trans thanks to Jerry's kit. [HTi]Johnson
The swap isn't that hard. It's is worth every minute of work. You can get a flywheel from a board member for cheap. I may have one laying around...they are shippable through a $13 flat rate box. The auto trans is iffy in a stock Brat, you put a lift on it, you'll want bigger tires and that means the auto trans is less than desirable.
