Uberoo
How much horsepower can a rear LSD either from an EA series car or a legacy hold? I am looking to push about 300-350 HP through an IRS rear diff with a limited slip... if either diff isnt up to the task anyone know of a cheap rear diff for an IRS setup that would work? baccaruda
Cheap? Limited Slip? no. Stronger? try a WRX LSD or an R180 or R200.
4x4_Welder
Try a Jag rear end. Most are LSD, and I think they are based off a D44. You can usually get the whole rear subframe for $100-$150, just watch what year it is- pre-93 will have the inboard mounted disks, 94+ has the brakes out at the wheels.
