Durania
This has been an issue ever since I bought my 2000 RS. When I first start the motor, I have to give it about 2 minutes of warm up time or when driving my RPM's will hang and fall slowly when I push the clutch in. Making shifting accurately a problem. After a few minutes the problem goes away and can shift like normal. Do I have a dirty IAC or PCV or something? My only remedy to this is letting it run before driving it every morning for several minutes.
bheinen74
My first thoughts are possibly the IAC sticky/dirty, or a coolant temp sensor, or a vaccuum leak, or the tps
Durania
Yeah my thought is the IAC as well. Not getting a check engine light what makes it weird. Would cleaning the IAC on my EJ25 be about the same as on my EJ22? Edited April 16, 2009 by Durania

Olnick
Sorry Durania, don't know what the 2000 models have. Maybe someone who has one will chime in. Do the pictures in post #7 here help? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=98281&highlight=iacv
