Turbone Posted April 17, 2009 Share Posted April 17, 2009 On a scale of 1/10, about a 8/10. Lots of changes need to be made. The fuel system. The wiring harness and ECU. XT6 Magic Posted April 18, 2009 Share Posted April 18, 2009 I have an EA81T Brat. It's nice if you have one already, but not worth the trouble to convert in my opinion. For all the trouble you are going to go through just do a NA EJ22E conversion instead. baccaruda Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 84 was the last official year of the EA81 wagon but it wouldn't come as a surprise if there were a few left over that snuck into '85. John, I had an EA81T coupe and loved it, but I bought a waterpump from the dealership and was told it was the last dealership-stocked waterpump in the country.. parts for the EA81T engine are drying up and it's only going to get worse.
