Rust
I cant find a correct filter at pepboys. I found a fram G3802A at walmart that is listed for a Mazda FI motor. The canister is the same dimension as the one in the car. Anyone used a non-factory filter before, the only differance I can see is the factory filter has an elbow inlet tube....the mazda one is straight. I'm trying to fix a crappy idle issue and want to rule out the small stuff first. Also picked up sme BOSCH 4019 platnum plus plugs. Any suggestions appreciated:)
Gloyale
I would try to find the correct filter, but really as long as it is an FI filter, and you can make the hoses reach it shouldn't matter. Return the Bosch plugs and get NGK or Denso. Subarus hate Bosch
