Subsforever
Alright me and a friend are working on his 97 obs, hit a curb last winter with the passenger rear tire now it wobbles badly. we replaced the half-shaft the drum and hub assembly one of the swing arms and the rim this weekend and it still wobbles just as bad. so i am running out of ideas can worn bushings or struts cause the a wobble that is visible by an observer and looks to be the same rpm as the tire is turning at i am running out of patience its been a rough week and where down to one car because Saturday i got my 93 impreza is stuck in a muddy ditch and it wont be comming out till it drys out but thats another story. so any ideas about what might be wrong with the 97 would be appreciated. P.S. My apologys for the rant im sort of angry at myself for getting my car stuck and putting my self in this situation.
mdjdc
You went at this the wrong way. Your rim is bent and all of the other stuff was unnecessary. Replace the wheel and the problem will be solved. For future reference, a bent half shaft is extremely rare and if you bent the suspension, you'd have a tracking problem, not a wobble. Good luck

Have you tried swapping a wheel that is known to run true to the rear passenger position? It might be that the tire itself was damaged by the impact, and is bulging. That would be likely if the rim runs true (check runout) but the tire doesn't.
