my69opelgt
On my 86 gl-10 sedan with ea82t im having trouble routing a hose from the AAC valve to the intake. the reason is i have a custom turbo setup and rotated the original intake so instead of meeting the turbo pointing down it now points back to the fire wall. stock location for the intake allows the hose to just run straight at the AAC, but rotating it made it point down. anyways my question is can i plug the hose inlet on the intake and just vent the AAC valve to open air? Or i could do it right and plug and retap a new inlet on the intake? input would be great since im trying to finish this car this week
naru
Tap a new one if you have to. Venting the AAV to atmosphere will allow unmetered air to enter the engine.
