Will 2004 WRX calipers fit under 15" rims?

Featured Replies

I have a set of nearly new 2004 WRX calipers i've had for a year or two and haven't done anything with them. Wanted to install them on my Legacy Lsi which has 15" rims, will they fit?

I need jamal!!!!

That year WRX comes stock on 16" wheels and there isn't much clearance. They won't fit.

Highly doubtful they will fit. Although it is mentioned that *some* 15" rims would fit, think you have the right ones? http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1265631

If I am not mistaken, an easy test would be to try to put the 15" rims onto your '02 OB, my understanding is that they are the same front calipers/rotors (as that year WRX).

Cheers.

right, i saw that some 15" would fit so i wasn't sure if it was a steel verses aluminum thing or what. i don't know what "rally" wheels are, but that seems to be the mention of the kind of 15" that will fit.

thanks, looks like it's a no go then.

Someone on this board, (I think), had an '01 or so OB (with a super nice tube front bumper), was able to use 15" rims, but had to shave some metal off the calipers. Only problem there is that I'm not sure if he had the ~10.9" rotors or the ~11.5"(WRX)...
