Niku-Sama Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 ok so i noticed that some of these cars have MAFs and some have AFMs. i am just curious, if for instance the MAF in my car dies and all i can find in the J-Yard for a quick fix are AFMs will they work? and i assume like with most cars turbo and N/A MAF/AFM are different on these or are they the same? Niku-Sama Posted June 21, 2009 Author Share Posted June 21, 2009 hmm i wonder if its just different wiring or a different signal or if the AFM doesent contain an air temp sensor... i'll have to check the wiring diagram. my MAF isnt toast but they dont like me for some reason, i replaced 2 in my maxima, no AFMs have been replaced for failure, replaced for performance...
