ya ive got a 2inch SJR lift with 1.5inch spacers on the front X-member from a 98 outback.

running a 27X8.50 14 SSR's. they do rub a little but nothing a BFH can't take care of. but since i built my car to wheel and not be the prettiest thing i hacked up the front fenders to fit the 28" AT's i had on it before the lift. i would like to re do the front fenders so it looks better but what ever i think my wagon looks like a tank.

anyways yours looks great with the lift and wheel/tire combo. very nice work.

If you drive your car everyday, keep it out of the mud.

why? i daily drive mine in between DD'ing my turbo impreza. why would he not want to get it muddy.

for the first time since i bought my 86 wagon (got it aug of 2008) i rinsed it, no not washed it but rinsed the mud off, but now it looks like the paint is stained from the mud which i like the look. its the look of something that is used for what it was built to do. not a pretty show car.

Scooby,

Thank you, can you post a recent picture of urs? Lol a "BFH" is that what I think that is Hahaha! Anyhoo, yea I just cut the front fenders instead of bashing them (I would have had to bach too much with out the lift) I'm glad I did the lift. I didn't use any x-member blocks (Axle has about 1/2" clearence from the x-member/lower control arm mounting spot) and hasn't hit yet, it'll only hit if you jack the car off the ground (So I don't think I'll be jumping it any time soon Lol) I'm not Colin McRae :P

It is a DD, and I would love to get into some serios mud some day, but I havn't a place to do so :( I was lucky to get those "Off the road" shots. I do wash my car (Use water to get anything off, then I use hand wax or spray wax) been doing that since 2006. I never use soap on the body (Takes old wax off) you want to keep the wax built up to protect the paint. anyway, us WI people need to get together sometime. from what I know, I don't think their are amny old gen owners in WI :

Oh cool! I like those tires, I'll get some more aggressive tires after these BFGs start getting crappy (Won't be for a few years) But my BFGs are still waaay better then the 13" Douglas I had lol..

The fender(s) don't look to bad, you could still clean it up a bit with an air cut-off. :)

"I'll get you, and your little Prius too" HAHAHA!!

I would definitely advise getting yourself a dual range tranny before getting tires that big and aggressive. Big tires like that will cook your tranny and you won't be able to turn them anyway, believe me I know!!

But I already run 26" tires, not are nobby but still big and deep tread.

I'd like a D/R someday! I'm happy at the moment though :-p
