littlecars
I just replaced the head gaskets. Now the motor is back in and it will not run. It will start and idel for a few seconds but then die. I can keep it running for about 5 seconds if I keep on the gas, but it ultimately dies. Any ideas? I reset the security system so I dont think that is the problem. What Am I missing? ShawnW
Idle air control valve hose not hooked completely to the intake tube? That hose is about 1" in diameter and goes from a thing near the throttle body and toward the passenger side of the car. It tucks down under the intake tube and can look hooked up when it isn't. littlecars
Now I am having another problem. It is idleing poorly, but runs good at high RPM's. The check engion light is also on. Do I need to reset theECU or something? Should I take it to a shop to have it scanned?
