hey everyone im chase and new to the forms but not to subarus

and ive got a 1982 GL subaru brat. my dad and my gramps went and picked it up for me in nevada a couple of years ago and now im old enough to drive im hoping to bring it to the subaru shows. and as you can see our subaru 360 in the background ya so latly ive been working hard to get my brat in better shape. doing body work replaced the cracked dash and i did it with no smarts about how to do it well and wat not. so now wen i turn on my wipers the fan turns on to:confused: and the rats got to my wiring harnest:mad: so just got done putting that back together other than small miner things that those it runs like a champ

welcome!

I think '82 is the best year for the old gen...

you'll find plenty of resources here to help keep the brat in good running condition...

I have to agree with you on '82 being the best year since it is truly unique since the trim pieces were changed in '83 and later.

Welcome... and sounds like youre having some good bonding time with the Brat..

The WCSS#11, West Coast Subaru Show this year is just East of Vancouver in Stevenson WA at the end of August... not to far of a drive to show your Brat!
