Mugs Posted July 21, 2009 Share Posted July 21, 2009 I have a 4:11 Diff I pulled out of my 92 Lego parts car along with the driveline and 5spd tranny. How much is a reasonable asking price to sell it on CR or other. I hear that 4:11 are kind of a "hot" item. Thanks again not sure how hot they can be if they are probably one of the most common ratios out there. last one i bought i think i spent $30-40 with a set of axles. U pull it want's something like $100, over priced in my opinion. old lego trannys about $100 range. assuming it's not a POS with decent miles. drive line your about right. The 90-91's had the 4.11. my 94 legacy would like to argue with you on that fact because it has 4.11s. it's wasn't until the second gen legacys that i have seen 3.90s honestly i have never seen a first gen legacy with anything other then 4.11s auto or manual. edrach Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 Actually, FHI almost randomly applied a 3.900 or 4.111 front/rear diff on various years of legacies and Imprezas. Only way to tell is from the transmission number found on the bell housing of the transmission or the engine mounted VIN# plate. We get $250 (without argument or complaints from the customers) for them all day long here at Aaron's. So somewhere in the middle. Start high. If it doesn't sell, lower the price.
