Fuel Pump

Recommended Posts

Found this fuel pump on ebay and wanted to confirm that it would work in my 92 loyale wagon, 1.8 spfi, 4x4. I searched and couldnt find much on it. sorry if it seems like I am beating a dead horse, but this seems like a good buy compared to ones sold in local parts stores. Also is there a strainer/filter inside the fuel tank?

Thanks

I would be wary of it as he mentions that it works for carbureted as well as

Fuel Injection.

I believe you need only 3 to 5 psi for a carb, but something more in the

range of 7-12 psi for spfi or mpfi.

I got a fuel pump from csk/Orielly's for $55 for a carbed EA71.

If you check on their site they could have what you're looking for for a

similar price.

I haven't tried napa, but I would check there as well.

As well as autozone, advance auto, carquest and pep boys.

If you search and put in the research you could easily find what you're looking for at a decent price :)

And no, I do not believe that there is any in-tank filtration, it requires an

external filter that most likely sits directly before the fuel pump.

The pump may come with a filter, so don't buy one until you get the pump.
