subynut
This may not be beneficial for me. I usually drive in 2500-5000 range lol... It will, my friend. It will. It made a noticeable difference in my old wagon. In fact, it let me run it all the way out to valve float at about 7900 rpm. There wasn't much power up there but, oh, did it sound angry! shortysayhi
Thought id just share my subi sound. Ea82t. 2.5 inch turbo back (does have cat) to a 3.5 inch can exhaust. *This isn't off a cold start* http://s1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa340/conifersubaru/?action=view¤t=7377f437.mp4
ABawm 88 GL
I'm running with my 02 sensor and just a Greddy fart can, my car sounds like god... I tried running it just straight piped, once with the 02 sensor equipped and once without... Both times it was too loud and didn't really put an exclamation on the soob rumble. ABawm 88 GL
And yeah if you have equal length headers your screwed
987687
Well I wanted to keep it a secret... but I plan on having a custom UEL made for Ned... about 2" if I can and then clear back to the 2.5" glasspack and then a flowmaster muffler... but Im going with a slight compression bump... going SPFI EA82 under my carb manifold with torque cams... hopefully thatll give my EA82 some real growl... and some power behind that growl The ea82 header is already UEL. I found out that it has quite a nice rumble and isn't too loud when the muffler gets ripped off while rally driving through the woods. An ej22 is really super annoyingly loud when it looses the muffler. And that's EL. Sounds like a rice machine.

Looks equal when I look at it, suppose itll look way different when I drop it. In any case, I still wanna go to 2"
TheLoyale
The EA82 Header isn't an UEL as a true UEL header, but one side is a tad longer then the other. It needs more unevenness if you ask me. Perhaps more compression for the sound we all want
987687
Right, one side is longer. Therefor it's UEL ... It actually has a pretty decent rumble. Pull the muffler and drive it around
