rkjbutter
These questions deal with the pitch arm. The bracket that is used on the trany side needs to come out of the XT, not a XT6? What pitch arm is used when you have 4 inch lift on your ej swap? Anyone else have trouble with the link for the ej swap write up?
Numbchux
Anyone else have trouble with the link for the ej swap write up? nope, because I actually read the thread instead of just clicking the link in the first post. pitch stoppers are overrated. haven't had one in my loyale since day 1. 40k+ miles, no problems. I been running the same. but i broke both motor mounts 4wheeling. i think the pitch stop will help when going over rocks. Why have a link there if it doesn't work? Why have a link there if it doesn't work? ah, yea, I suppose you get more movement wheelin. you might be able to use an XT bracket with the standard EA82 rod with the lift. the link worked when it was relevant. now I can't edit the original post. it's posted many many many other places. Any EJ 5spd bracket can be easily made to bolt onto the trans....then cut and weld a pitch stopper to length. I offer this service at my shop....PM me if you wanna come down.... BTW, I've seen you driving around OR. City Kinda hard to miss with the Electric green wheels.....nice.
