mitch184
I know that the bypass valve on a turbo setup is supposed to go between the intercooler and the throttle body. But what happens if you put the bypass valve between the turbo outlet and the intercooler because say it's way easier and you don't feel all that creative. I read in a magazine that it shouldn't make a difference but everyone i've talked to, read about, or seen has them after the intercooler. Just wondering if anyone's tried it. rallyruss
Huh:confused: the turbo outlet and the intercooler? that would be totaly pointless. turbo INlet and intercooler now that would work just fine. thats how mine is plumed.
mitch184
I meant the bypass valve would be plumbed on the pipe coming from the turbo to the intercooler. Sorry for the confusion.
robm
How hot is the air coming out of the turbo? Can the BPV take the temperature?
gravelRX
I'm searching for clarification on BPV placement. Man, people have got to start putting keywords in relevent posts. I'm getting good stuff, but lots of babbling too. Curious about this too. Old threads to the top. I can mount my BPV where for maximum efficiency?
