jg09
Found an intercooler that my friend will sell me for cheap. Also decided to make my own boost controller. Which means I need a boost gauge.

GeneralDisorder
yes and probably an air/fuel gauge too. Wideband - those narrow-band gauges are gimmicks. They won't tell you anything useful for a turbocharged engine. Anytime you are under boost you will be off-the-chart rich on those gauges. They are good only for people that want to try and maximize their mileage by staying in the stoich sweet spot. Do that on your turbo and you'll be looking for a new engine after you head over to the next county to collect your pistons and rods. GD
vagen
I completely agree with GD.. get a good wide band or you will never know if you mixture is correct. I have just finished building my prototype boost controller

GeneralDisorder
So in the box is the solenoid I'm assuming? Did you use a three way? GD
vagen
this one is an experiment and is set up like a factory boost control. It has a two way solenoid when off there is no boost modification when on there is a bleed to raise boost to a preset level. the default setting is closed and stock boost. I went this route because I didn't trust the solenoid to control the wastegate directly.

You don't trust a three-way solenoid or you don't trust the two-way that you had? GD

derburger
You added a JDM sunroof air intake? Would you happen to have a spare one of the center caps for those wheels... I have 3/4 of the caps for my set.
vagen
I have just enough for my wheels. Sorry no extras
vagen
You added a JDM sunroof air intake? the scoop was going to be for the intercooler but it's too wide so rather than tossing a $50 scoop I put it on the roof.
