geo.
I am a newbie and just got a Brat. But I did read all the resistor and blower threads/posts, and this is where I am at. A mouse had built a nest in the duct blocking the motor and the heater fuses were blown. I cleaned out the nest and hoped the green feces was chewed felt insulation and not chewed wiring (they do that too). There is absolutely no place the resistor could be/could have been in the housing. I replaced the blower from an 85 or 86 wagon template didn't match. I put in 3 new bolts instead of screws. I now have 2 speed heat.... I think the resistor is missing because I can see two screw holes about the right pattern for the resistor I couldn't get off that wagon. But the screw patten is on the sidewall. I can also see the 4 wire blank white connector where I think it went. AM I RIGHT ON THIS? What should the resistor look like and where does it go? bratman2
Resistor should be up and to the right of your gas pedal. Mounted into that end of the duct.
