stephen115
What she will hopefully look like when I am done. hood scoop, Enkei 92's I hope I can get some custom hubs made because I really like these wheels and they have a nice off set to them. the car will also have a rebuilt Ej22 in it and I hope to turbo charge it after I upgrade the brakes and stuff, thats later down the road. A little update, many of you know that the cam in my ea81 basically went to shreds, how? well I really dont know but Im guessing the oil pump went out on the highway and I just didn't know about the oil pump. but anyways I'm moving into a new house the first week of november and I hope to bring the brat there and start rebuilding the engine so I can atleast drive her. thank you SJ Edited October 20, 2011 by stephen115

TheLoyale
PA where xt6's go to die These cars would not die if people weren't so ignorant and would take car of their vehicle(s) Vs. just drive them till they fail.

Same here. I may not have the rust issues that the east coast has, but the interiors of my vehicles are beat on something fierce down here in the high desert. But, that's what the tinted windows, window shades, and carports are for.

TheLoyale
That's how I get nice cars cheap, nothing wrong with that. haha. It just takes time and money to fix others errors, Amazing how a $500 car will clean up and feel like new with some time and love (Not to mention a Sh*t load of money over the years) Funny how the 2nd gen Legacy is now the $500 Subaru of the midwest. Can't wait till I can snag a Tribeca for that amount.
bheinen74
yeah plenty of 36grand SVX's can be had for around the 600-950 area...... so yes, the Tribeca soon will have that as well. couldnt sell them new, cant give them away used.

rpholz
Jawn that remark was not a stab at you. But i've seen several XT's just from yourself crushed, (again not a stab at you). every XT/6 I know in Florida is still in operational condition. Turbone
EG33, and don't forget remaining intake tubes before the start up. Yeah, thats one of the items that got misplaced. Luckily I have one being shipped to me right now. And I can still start it without the hose, it will just throw a code.

I didn't think you made a stab at anyone either, it is a fact, Subarus come to midwest/east coast to die, cause people give up on the rust and scrap them. That why we have to at least try to keep what we have

SmashedGlass
Today I reinstalled all my dash under panels, then proceeded to remove my center console to clean the mysteries-of-science off of it..... There was enough dog hair under it stuck to the carpet and everything else to re-fur a chihuahua, a pen, more loose change, unidentifiable stickyness, a lid from a petroleum product, hardware from who knows what, pine needles...... in short, a mess. If not for lack of tell tale toilet leavings, I would've sworn a very small squirrel had made a penthouse out of the inside of the console. Other than that, just made some more small progress on tallying all the little repairs it needs (like new corner light sockets, this time with working lock tabs). SubaruJawn
changed the intake boot, now its duct tape free and much tighter, so leaks should be gone... i hope anyway and put on the replacement headlight covers.
