hueyman2
I want to replace my current fog lamps/lights with much brighter ones. Should I replace the whole assembly or just upgrade to higher intensity bulbs. For either do you have any suggestions on make and model of the parts? Thanks! idosubaru
the sylvania silverstars seem to do fine, i just installed them last week in mine, they're a step up from the stock.
Rooster2
the sylvania silverstars seem to do fine, i just installed them last week in mine, they're a step up from the stock. I am thinking that silverstars are head light bulbs only, not fog lamps. Someone wrote here about replacing fog lamps with low beam seal beam bulbs. I am sure doing a "search" here will tell you all about the conversion.
idosubaru
I am thinking that silverstars are head light bulbs only, not fog lamps.on the H6 OBW's like mine (i'm sure the EJ25's are the same) the foglights use headlight bulbs. standard 9006 or something like that, forget the exact number. idosubaru
I think you have to be careful upgrading too much or you can exceed the rating of the wiring that supports that circuit. folks upgrade the wiring often when going bonkers with bright lights.
